Irish Hiking Mitts – An Easy Intro to Cable Knitting

The best way to describe cables – dramatic results with minimal effort! While they may look difficult, cables are easy and fun to knit! Cables add depth and texture to knitted fabric with very little effort. These gloves are knit flat and the side edges are joined with a split seam to create the thumb opening.

Skill level: Experienced Beginner

Skills Required: Cast on, knit, and purl




Cabled Boot Toppers

Perfect for the cold weather, these trendy cabled boot toppers are the perfect accessory to brave the cold wind and snow. Knit in the round from the top down, the cuffs can be work as tall socks or folded over outside of the boot. Whichever way you choose to wear them, you will be warm and stylish!
