Continental Knit and Purl
Continental Knitting

The continental method of knitting requires that you hold the working yarn in your left hand. Knitters who utilize this style are often referred to as “pickers” in contrast to English style “throwers” who carry the yarn in the right hand. In addition to learning the traditional purl method, the Norwegian Purl will also be demonstrated. Brenda will also demonstrate Portuguese knitting.

You must already know how to knit for this class. This class will focus on teaching you a new style but assumes you can successfully cast on and work the basic stitches.
