Carryduff Shawl by Brenda Brayfield

This crescent-shaped shawl is worked from the top down, starting with a garter tab cast on. As you work your way down, increases are made at each side on every row. The shawl features a longer wingspan, while maintaining a relatively shallow body. After the body is completed, the knitted-on lace edging is worked sideways to the body.

You can choose a two-colour stripe for the body; a variegated yarn for the body and a semi-solid for the edging; or use the same colour for the body and the edging. Whichever combination you choose, your shawl will be lovely!
