Come and learn how to spin! In this class we’ll be covering the basics of wheel spinning. You will learn how your wheel works, the basic short forward draft and how to ply. Our goal is that by the end of the class set, you’ll be confident in making your own yarn. A basic kit of materials is supplied with the course fee, but you will need to bring a wheel, bobbins and lazy kate with you to class.
Shop wheels are available for rental if you do not own your own wheel. Please be sure to tell us if you need a rental wheel when signing up for this class. A $50 deposit will be collected at class sign up, and will be refunded upon return of the wheel. If you decide to purchase a wheel, all registered spinning students will receive 10% off any new wheel purchase for 30 days after your class.
